How We Know If Someone is Truthful Or Not (Yiddish video)

We all have an inborn “truth detector”.

Most of us will pick up fairly quickly when someone is not being totally truthful or honest with us.

What is it that tips us off?

In this video, I share what it is that sets the alarm bells ringing & some interesting facts about communication in general.

It’s About THEM (Yiddish Video)

What do you focus on when you talk someone?

We are often so focused on our own needs, or the outcome that we want to achieve, that we can forget what we all know to be true.

When you want to connect with someone in a conversation; especially if you feel that you’re not on the same level – this simple mind-shift can make all the difference.

Action is REAL power! (Yiddish video)

We’re often told that the more you know the greater your advantage.

Learn, study, get that degree or continue to self-educate yourself.

But is knowledge in and of itself the key to success? Is the term “knowledge is power” really true?

Knowledge is really important, no doubt about that. But there’s one thing that’s more important than knowledge.

In this short video, I share what that is… check it out!

Be Resourceful! (Yiddish video)

“I don’t have enough money”

“I don’t have the contacts”

“I don’t have the degree”

“I wasn’t born into the right family”

We often feel that we can’t accomplish XY or Z because of this or that.

The truth is, though we don’t always want to admit it, is that the lack of RESOURCES is NOT what holds us back. It’s a lack of RESOURCEFULNESS.

Be resourceful – and you’ll figure out a way to make it happen!

When you don’t feel like you’re good enough (Yiddish Video)

You know those times when you start feeling like you’re not good enough? Or you start feeling down because you’re not where you want to be?

We all feel this way sometimes and it usually happens when we start comparing ourselves to others.

Comparing ourselves to others is something we all naturally do.

Telling yourself to just stop comparing yourself to others probably won’t take you very far.

Instead, try comparing in a different way; in a way that serves you rather than discourages you.

In this short video, I share what I do when I start feeling like I’m not good enough and I’d love to hear any tips or insights you may have!

P.S. When I refer to people more experienced than you, I’m referring to people that are more experienced than you AND or role models to you in business. Meaning they’ve grown and continued to up their game over the years. (We all know that years of experience alone does not necessarily make someone better than you)

How do YOU handle negative comments? (Yiddish video)

How do YOU handle negative comments?

I know there’s been lots of talk about this already.

But you see, I seem to have an interesting reaction when faced with negative comments (that drives my partner crazy…).

I honestly don’t know why I react the way I do, and I would love to hear from you two things:

1 – How YOU handle negative comments

2 – Why do YOU think I react the way I do?

Looking forward to hearing your opinion!

Being Personal IS Professional (Yiddish Video)

I had a discussion recently with someone about being “professional” in business.

He wanted to take certain steps in business but was concerned that it might not come across as being professional. He was afraid that it may turn off potential clients.

In this short video, I share what we spoke about and my personal opinion on this issue.

Once you’ve had a chance to watch, I would be curious to know;

What’s your opinion on being professional in today’s marketplace?

Stop Trying! (Yiddish Video)

Stop TRYING!!!

Yes, you heard me right. It’s time to stop trying.

I know that you’ve been told to always “try your best” or to “at least try to do it”.

We’re constantly TRYING this or TRYING that, TRYING so hard or TRYING so many times.

But, let me ask you this; has TRYING ever really worked for you?

In this short video, I talk about why to stop trying- and what to do instead. Check it out!

Three Levels of Relationship With Clients (Yiddish Video)

What level do you play at?

There are three levels of relationship with clients.

Really any type relationship, but we’ll talk about how these three levels apply to your relationship with your clients.

Because here’s the fact; depending on which level you play – you can expect very different results.

(Be aware that we can often switch between levels and play at different levels at different times.)

I’ll just ask one thing; Please, be honest with yourself and know which level you’re really playing at.

Only then can you take the necessary steps to change things, if needed of course.

Check it out!

Difficult clients.

They’re everywhere. They come in all forms, shapes, and sizes.

And no matter what you do; whether you’re a cashier, an account manager or top executive, you’re bound to have to deal with them.

What’s interesting is that you’ll often find that it is the business owner who will know how to handle the situation best.
